Indian women head to scale Mt Everest

Kathmandu, Mar. 28: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Jayant Prasad bade farewell to the Everest expedition team of Indian women army officers to climb Mt. Everest on Monday.

 

The team led by Colonel Ajay Kothiyal with seven women officers will start a 17-day trek to the base camp of Mt. Everest from Tuesday.

 

The team will make an attempt to reach the summit of the Mt. Everest within from May 10- 20, the Indian Embassy said. RSS
