Indian envoy calls on NC Vice President

KATHMANDU: Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Jayant Prasad, called on Vice-President of the Nepali Congress (NC), Ram Chandra Paudel, at the latter’s residence at Boharatar in the capital today.

 

During the meeting, the duo held discussions on efforts made among political parties for an outlet to the current political crisis.

 

Stating that the NC is always in favour of consensus, Paudel said that the NC has started discussions for consensus and added that the Prime Minister should tender his resignation.

 

On the occasion, Ambassador Prasad enquired about the ongoing efforts made for political outlet, said aide to Paudel, Chiranjibi Adhikary, quoting the Ambassador. RSS
