I will work for justice to citizens: Acting Chief Justice

KATHMANDU: Acting Chief Justice Deepak Raj Joshi has said that works would be carried out for the justice to the people through the implementation of the five-year strategic plan for reforming the judiciary.

The Acting Chief Justice said this while talking to journalists covering the law and justice affairs beat, after assuming office today.

He expressed the commitment to always work for the justice and welfare of the citizens as the judiciary is an important institution protecting the citizens’ rights.

Stating that priority would be given to implementing the judiciary’s strategic plan itself, the Acting Chief Justice said, “If there is anything amiss anywhere, it is because of us and not of others. So, I will be effortful in resolving the problem without blaming others.”

He said that he would be working vigorously to increase the public faith and ownership towards the judiciary. RSS
