Pledging to quit the government at any time if consensus is forged, Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has appealed all the political parties for moving towards that end.
Addressing the nation on Thursday afternoon, PM Dr Bhattarai said, “The incumbent government is ready to make any sacrifice for paving the way towards consensus.”
During his half-hour long televised address, PM Dr Bhattarai spent most of his time explaining the government’s attempts and achievements during his tenure. He also attributed the opposition’s lack of cooperation and support for the failure of constitution promulgation.
