High US official in Nepal
N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU: A high ranking US official has arrived in Nepal on Sunday to take stock of the status of the ongoing peace process and the task of constitution writing. U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, Dr Alyssa Ayres arrived this morning on a five-day official visit. She is scheduled to call on the President, the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs. She is also scheduled to meet separately with the top leaders of the major political parties.
