Heart patient Chaulagain in America seeks big hearts
Nepalese are generous and supportive. They support with their big heart whenever they see other are in problems. Even in the foreign land when they met their fellow Nepali caught into problem, in no time they come together for their helping hand. Yet another case in the America has epitomizes the caring and generous values of Nepali. Nepalese residing in the US have started pouring the support as much as they can to an ailing Raju Chaulagain who has undergone through the surgery of valve of the heart. Chaulagain went to America after getting Green Card through EDV lottery. However, the lottery proved him to be a misfortune. But his dream was shattered thanks to the problem of heart he was diagnosed with and letr went through a surgery. He has to stay in hospital for 5 weeks but he was running out of money and here a heart patient sought an open-heart of his fellow Nepali. Nepali Ekata Samaj, an organization based in the US to preserve Nepali culture and tradition, has started to collect the support for the Chaulagain for his treatment and rehabilitation after his surgery. So far it has collected about $1500 from the Nepali people for the treatment of Chaulagain. The money collected comprises of the support from more than 22 Nepali peoples in America, informed General Secretary of Nepal America Ekata Samaj Bimal K Guragain.
