Govt to resolve the problems of conflict stricken teachers
The government has constituted a three-member investigation commission under the chair of former judge Jageshwar Subedi for resolving the problems of teachers who were forced to leave their jobs due to various reasons during the conflict period.
The cabinet meeting held today to form the investigation commission for resolving the problems of the teachers who were deprived from their service during the conflict period and for providing relief to them, said Minister for Information and Communications, Raj Kishor Yadav, who is also the government spokesman. The cabinet meeting has also decided to extend the term of the Landless Squatters Problems Resolution Commission until the end of the Nepali month of Asar 2070 BS.
The meeting has approved the Nepali Congress leader Arjun Narsingh K.C., former Speaker of Parliament, Daman Nath Dhungana and former government minister Chakra Banstola for receiving the honour which the Bangladesh government is conferring on them for providing notable contribution to the freedom struggle of that country.
