Girl found murdered after rape in Southeast Nepal
MAHOTTARI: A girl has been found dead in the banks of the Maraha river in Thapa tole of Gaushala municipality-10, Mahottari today. Sharmila Danuwar of Gaushala, is suspected to have been murdered after rape.
Danuwar’ body was found this morning, with her mouth and neck tied up, blue marks in both eyes and injury marks all over the body. She was also found to be bleeding from her vagina, according to police inspector at the Area Police Office, Gaushala Kishore Acharya.
Preliminary investigation showed that she was murdered after rape, police said.
