Ghani Offers Conditional Legitimacy to Afghan Taliban
(VOA): Afghan President Ashraf Ghani offered unconditional peace talks with the Afghan Taliban on Wednesday during the Kabul Process Conference in the nation's capital, and he asked for a cease-fire. The Afghan leader also pledged to recognize the insurgent group as a legitimate political party if it agrees to give up violence. VOA's Mohammad Habibzada reports.
