German ambassador advises PM to move ahead with consensus

KATHMANDU: Ambassador of Germany to Nepal, Verena Grafin von Roedern, made a farewell visit to Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai at the latter’s office at Singha Durbar, today.

Talking briefly to RSS after the meeting, Ambassador Roedern expressed the view that there is no alternative to forging consensus among political parties to conclude all works related to constitution and the peace process.

Stating that the Government of Germany has provided assistance even in this difficult situation, she expressed the commitment that it will give continuity to it in the future as well.Ambassador Grafin also said that her country is always willing to provide more assistance to Nepal in the sector of trade and commerce.
