Funds embezzled at Korea chapter of Limbuwan Rajya Parishad
KATHMANDU: The Limbuwan Rajya Parishad- Korea (LRP-K) has been caught by embezzling of the organizational funds. LRP-K’s Vice Chairman Laxman Rai, Secretary Nandu Kambang, member Nagen Limbu have accused Chairman Narad Limbu of embezzling around 60 thousand rupees in a joint statement.
“The funds amounting to 60 thousand rupees collected by the meeting of Mangshir 10 for conducting the Biratnagar General Convention have been embezzled by Chairman Narad Limbu”, the press release claimed while calling on the Chairman to return the funds and make public the names of donors who had donated the amount.
Vice-Chairman Laxman has claimed that the organization’s name and credibility has been seriously questioned due to the corrupt behavior of Chairmain Narad limb.
He claimed that the Central Committee should take immediate actions against Limbu for failing to abide organization’s code of conduct and seriously tarnishing the image of the whole organization.
