Fourteen dead in Gulmi jeep accident
GULMI: At least 14 people were killed when a jeep (Ga 1 Ja 5219) met with an accident at Kopche of Badigadh rural municipality in Gulmi district today. All the people (nine women, four men and a child) died on the spot.
Three injured in the accident have been sent to Burtibang for treatment, said Nawaraj Bhatta, chief of the district police office, adding that rescue efforts are underway. The victims were traveling on the ill-fated jeep to Nisikhola of Baglung from Isma of Gulmi to worship their clan deities.
