Four of Delhi family, including infant girl burnt alive in Haryana car accident

CHANDIGARH: A seven-month-old girl was among four members of a Delhi-based family who were charred to death after being trapped in their car, which caught fire following a collision with a truck in Haryana's Karnal district today, the police said.
The incident took place in the early hours near Shamgarh village, police officials said.
“The car, which was going towards Delhi, jumped a divider on the highway and collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction,” SHO of Taraori police station in Karnal, Janak Raj said.
The car caught fire after the collision.

The occupants, including a seven-month-old girl, who got trapped in it were burnt to death, he said.
After the police received the information about the incident, a fire tender was rushed to the site, but the car was completely charred by then, the SHO said.
