Four chand cadres released, join NCP
JHAPA: Four cadres of the banned Biplav group, arrested for various crimes, were released today. Those released are Bijaya Darnal,32, Bidur Sherpa,30, and Furba Sherpa, 28, of Taplejung and Ganesh Biswakarma of Jhapa.
They were released after they pledged in writing to not involve in any activity of the outlawed group, according to District Police Office, Jhapa spokesperson Mahendra Kumar Shrestha. Soon after the release, they announced their entre to the Nepal Communist Party.
NCP district Chair Chintan Pathak and other leaders welcomed them to the party.
