Former PM Deuwa ready to shoulder responsibility of war cases during his stint

SALYAN:
Former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuwa has said that he was ready to shoulder the moral responsibility of the incidents carried out in insurgency period during his stay in the office. He also challenged the leader of the then insurgent Maoist to do same.
“I am ready to take moral responsibility of the wartime incidents happened during my premiership,” Former PM Deuwa, who is also the senior leader of Nepali Congress said, adding, “Prachanda also should dare take moral responsibility of the incidents carried out from the Maoists side.” He also criticized PM Dr Baburam Bhattarai for trying to introduce the Truth and Reconciliation Commission without any consultation with the opposition parties.
Leader Deuwa accused the Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai of making a national shame by trying to give an excuse to the criminals though the Prime Minister was a follower of the constitution.
