Former assistant minister Rup Jyoti arrested on fraud charge
KATHMANDU: Former assistant Minister and entrepreneur Rup Jyoti has been arrested from Kathmandu on a fraud charge.
A team from the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu on Thursday evening held Jyoti from Tribhuvan International Airport, said Kathmandu police spokesperson Hobindra Bogati.
He has been accused of swindling people out of millions of rupees in housing business. He has been kept at the Metropolitan Police Range, Teku.
