FNJ condemns on journalist mishandling incident

KATHMANDU: Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), an umbrella organization of the mediapersons on Sunday has condemned the incident of mishandling to journalists Hom Kumar Karki (FNJ chair of Sindhuli chapter) and Min Kumar Dahal, (former FNJ chair of Sindhuli chapter).
Issuing a press release today, the FNJ has urged the government to take legal action against the culprits.
Meanwhile, Press Union Nepal has also stated that its attention was drawn to the incident.
It is stated that police in civil dress had attacked and mishandled the journalists at Kamalamai Municiplity-6 Shivanagar on July 6.
