Federal Alliance forms committee to draft constitution amendment
KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Federal Alliance has formed an 11-member committee to draft the amendment of the constitution.
The committee led by Laxman Lal Karna has the members as Lal Babu Raut, Brishes Chandra Lal, Ram Naresh Ray, Keshav Jha, Gopal Dahit, Kumar Lingden Mirak, Prem Bahadur Khati, and one each representing Dalit community, provincial front, and indigenous community, said alliance coordinator Upendra Yadav.
The meeting also decided to conduct protest rally at VDC, municipality and district headquarters on coming September 19.
