Exercise of Nepal’s Diplomatic Practices: Experiences of Ambassadors published

KATHMANDU: A book entitled ‘Exercise of Nepal’s Diplomatic Practices: Experiences of Ambassadors’ has been published by the Institute of Foreign Affairs (IFA). The book compiled and edited by Nepal Communist Party leader and journalist Bishnu Rijal was released in the capital today.
Releasing the book, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali commented that the book was a window to view the diplomatic history of the nation.
The book has incorporated the diplomatic experiences of 20 former ambassadors. Commenting on the book former ambassadors Dr Bekh Bahadur Thapa and Dr Madan Kumar Bhattarai said that Nepal’s diplomatic practice was older than that of the developed countries including Japan.
Senior journalist Yubraj Ghimire said that the diplomatic practices and foreign policy should have centered on national interest.
Editor Rijal shared that the main purpose of the book was to share diplomatic knowledge gained by the diplomats.
