Envoy Lama receives warm welcome in Korea

Balabhadra Rai, SEOUL, Korea: Newly appointed Nepal’s ambassador to South Korea, Kaman Singh Lama was given a warm welcome by Nepalese residing here.

Ambassador Lama is the second ambassador of Nepal and succeeded his predecessor Kamal Prasad Koirala, who completed his tenure earlier this year.

During the welcome program organized by Nepali Janadhikar Manch, Seoul, Nepalese diasporas asked their queries to ambassador Lama.

Ambassador Lama pledged to address issues related to labor and other problems faced by Nepalese workers in the country by coordinating with South Korean government agencies at the earliest.

The program was attended by NRN Korea president- K.P Sitoula, Former NRN President Binod Kunwar, Social Worker Rudra Sharma, Nepali Janadhikar Manch Chairman Dipak Pun, Secretary Basanta Bahadur Thapa, Nepal Korea Trade Organization’s Chairman Madan K.C. and Deputy Chief of Mission at Nepali Embassy Seoul Raja Ram Bartoula.
