Employees demand thorough discussion on TIA security management

KATHMANDU: Nepal Civil Aviation Authority Democratic Employees’ Association has stressed the need to make adequate discussion in connection with the management of the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA).

Issuing a press release on Sunday, Association Chairperson Dharmendra Pandey and General-Secretary Trilochan Poudel said that the management of international airport should be undertaken by specifying mode of investment, process to select management, institutional interests of the Authority and perks and benefits of existing employees.

A broad-based discussion with stakeholders should be held while taking decision regarding the management of the airport, the Association demanded.

The Association also demanded the removal of banners and flags put up by different organizations at the entrance of the Authority’s office. RSS
