DR sub-committee meet deferred for four days

N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Dispute Resolution (DR) sub-committee under the Consitutional Committee (CC) has been deferred for four days on Friday with an understanding to expedite efforts to forge consensus on outstanding issues.

During the meeting, PM Dr. Baburam Bhattarai had briefed on the latest progress made by the Army Integration Special Committee (AISC) in army integration.

Both the PM and Maoist Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal had urged the members to expedite the process for resolving outstanding issues reated to constitution writing claiming that the army integration process had begun.

However member of the committee and NC and UML leaders rejected their request and maintained discussions on constitution writing would not start unless the army integration begun.

During the meeting, CA Chairman Subash Nembang had urged the participants to expedite the process for garnering consensus on statute writing informed Maoist Chief whip Dev Prasad Gurung.
