‘Dissident’ madheshi leaders coming together

KATHMANDU: Some leaders from the Madheshi who have not joined that Joint Democratic Madheshi Front are slated to hold joint discussions in the capital today.

Chairman of Madheshi Janadhikar Forum (Nepal) Upendra Yadav has taken lead to form the group to actively lobby for one madhesh one province demands, among others.

The meeting, which so far has been kept under the radar, is expected to form a strategy that will oppose the decision of the JDMF and the major political parties for not forming federalism along ethnic lines.
