Deputy PM Gachhadar downplays oppns’ agitation warning

Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachchadar has said that the nationwide agitation announced by the opposition parties would not make any impact on the government.
Talking with the journalists in Biratnagar today, he claimed that Congress and UML agitation to oust Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai from power would make no difference.
The incumbent prime minister would not resign at any cost until unless both the parties agree to a package deal, he added.
Welcoming the decision of the President to do away with the deadlines in seeking a political consensus, he said the responsibility of a consensus has now fallen upon the shoulders of the national political parties.
