Deportations Are Up Among Boston’s Undocumented Irish
(VOA): While U.S. deportations overall were down in 2017, they were up for a vast majority of countries, including Ireland. The total number of removals — 34 — pales in comparison to other countries, but it represents a 31 percent increase from 2016, enough to cause panic in a community that, in recent years, has not been used to such scrutiny.
