Demand for Autonomous Karnali
HUMLA: Political parties and locals of Humla district have called for the Karnali Autonomous Province. Handing over a memorandum to the Prime Minister through the Chief District Officer of Humla, Ved Prasad Kharel, on Monday, they said the present Karnali Zone should not be split while federalizing the country and that the zone should be declared as the Karnali Autonomous Province.
Among the political parties submitting the memorandum are the Nepali Congress, the CPN (UML), Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal. RSS
