Dahal-Nepal talks fail to resolve contentions

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Unified CPN (Maoist) and CPN (UML) senior leader Madhav Nepal, have held talks on the contemporary political issues.

During the meeting held at the Legislature-Parliament Secretariat, Singhadurbar, today, the leaders duo held discussions regarding the new budget, constitution writing and ending contemporary political crisis.

The talk was inconclusive though their talk was focused on forging consensus to end the present political transition, said senior leader Nepal after the meeting.

During the meeting UML leader Nepal stressed on ownership of all political parties to the budget for the fiscal year 2069/2070 BS and should be brought after forging political consensus.

Similarly, Chairman Dahal said the UCPN-Maoist has been always ready to resolve the current political crisis. RSS
