Congress Prez confident of consensus within 5 days
Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala has expressed his confidence for the consensus within the five days of deadline extended by the President for the fourth time. However, Maoist should exhibits sincerity towards the political parties for the consensus, according to Koirala.
Speaking at a 13th day rituals of Congress leader Bhim Bahadur Tamang at Jhule in Dolakha today, he expressed his hope of consensus government under the leadership of Congress within the deadline if Prachanda remains honest towards his commitment he made with the parties.
“Congress led government is must if the Constituent Assembly Election is to be held by April-May (Baisakh),” Koirala said, “Prachanda has expressed his commitment to support consensus government under the leadership of Congress.”
President Koirala further said that the Maoist should be honest for safeguarding the achievements made so far. He also vowed to lead the party as per the Tamang’s thinking.
Likewise, speaking in the program, Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi stressed the need of strengthening the internal democracy of the party.
