Congress and UML holding their meeting today
The main ruling parties- Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) – are holding their Central working committee and Standing Committee meeting today respectively. The meetings are scheduled to be held in their own central offices.
The CWC meeting of the Congress will dwell upon the future course after the consensus could not be forged in the name of party president Sushil Koirala for the PM which it has proposed earlier as the party candidate for the executive head of the state.
Likewise, the meeting will also endorse the statutes of its sister-wings Nepal Tarun Dal and Nepal Mahila Sangh.
Though the agenda of the party has been set as the internal issue of the party, the meeting will discuss upon the ongoing political issues, informed party’s spokesperson Dilendra Prashad Badu.
Likewise, the Standing Committee meeting of the UML scheduled to be held at party central office Balkhu on the eve of Central Committee meeting will discuss on the preperation of the CCM meeting as well as the issue of national consensus government.
UML Secretary Pradip Gyawali said that though the meeting is about the preparation of tomorrow’s meeting, the issue of national consensus government will also be the priority.
