China committed to Nepal’s development: Envoy
CHITWAN: Ambassador of China to Nepal, Yang Houlan, has said that the Chinese Government was always positive towards extending support to the development endeavors of Nepal.
Speaking at a reception organised in his honour by Bharatpur Municipality here on Monday, Ambassador Houlan said his government was committed to extending additional support to the sectors of forestry, agriculture, tourism and hydropower in Nepal.
It would not take long time to develop Nepal as the country rich in natural resources, he added.
“Presently, Nepal is passing through transition and the development activities could not take a momentum until and unless the peace and constitution drafting process reach to a conclusion”, said the high-level diplomatic representative from the northern neighbour.
On the occasion, Municipality’s engineer Bhojraj Kaudal and administrative officer Tikaram Kandel apprised Ambassador Houlan of the development projects implemented by the municipality so far and other future projects. RSS
