My campaign is to make NASeA free from political interference: Dhakal
North Carolina: Nearly two and half decade back while the Silicon Valley and American economy is heightening towards sky, he has entered America. Though Madhav Dhakal was established as Journalist and lecturer his ambition to acquire PHD degree headed him towards America. Then it begins the struggling steps of the Okhaldhunge boy in the land of dream. “Though couldn’t fulfill the dream of adding Dr. in front of name but the education that I got from the social work is no less than PHD degree from any University”, he told us in his own residence at High Point North Carolina. On the basis of the fact of 24 years of residing in America and involving in social work for about two decade has made him to take the responsibility of organizing committee chairman for the joint conference of Nepalese Association in Southeast America (NASeA) and the Association of Nepalese in Midwest America (ANMA).
He has also announced the presidency candidacy for the next tenure of the Nepalese Association in Southeast America (NASeA). He has tight scheduled these days. He has to allocate time for conference preparatory committee meeting, reporting, reviewing the task of the different subcommittee, monitoring, gathering feed back etc. As getting engaged much for conference preparations he is not able to allocate sufficient time for publicity of the NASeA election.” I accepted as the colleagues have suggested me to accept the proposal of chairman for the success of the joint conference. I was compelled for presidency candidacy as there raised the voice that my leadership could effectively lead the NASeA in coming days. It is my deep desire to serve in the community”, Dhakal said us who is by profession a banker. Dhakal has worked for a long time earlier in NASeA having different executive positions. He is very popular in community as well as in institution as he is experienced, has clarity in thought, has result oriented working nature, and has simple nature. He hasn’t taken rest within this two decade of social work. His claim for victory basically based on the agenda he has forwarded. To make the NASeA most effective organization among Nepalese in coming days in the United States he has put forward five point declarations. Among these building the NASeA as the umbrella association of all the Nepalese organization, making the second generation Nepalese active in community involvement and campaigning to make the NASeA free from political interference are the major one. Dhakal is confident that these agendas will definitely make the NASeA strong, capable and efficient. “These agendas are the bases for his victory”, the candidate for the General Secretary Prasim Paudel told us.
NASeA and ANMA are the two old Nepalese organizations in the America. These two organizations which are active in South-eastern part of America are going to have 11th joint conference from September 4 to 6 in Embassy Suites of Greensboro, North Carolina.
