Call for pro-people constitution

KATHMANDU: Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives Akwal Ahammad Sah has said that new constitution should incorporate concerns of all classes.

Inaugurating a seminar on agricultural program and market relations project in Dhulkhel today, Minister Sah said promulgating new constitution based on people’s expectations was the need of the hour.

Saying suppressed class was sidelined in constitutional structure, he added new constitution should pave ways for building new Nepal as peace process was completed.

On the occasion, Minister Sah said projects were not successfully held due to lack of monitoring and project implementation.

Chief district officer of Kavre Rudranath Basyal, executive officer of DDC, Kavre, Mohan Adhikari, chief of agricultural office Sahadev Prasad Humagain among others spoke on different aspects of the project.

The project is likely to work to supply the agricultural productions from Mangaltar, Bhimkhori and Chamrenbensi to the markets. RSS
