Cabinet to be expanded if consensus isn’t forged
Federal Democratic Republican Alliance (FDRA), a coalition of ruling parties, has decided to expand the cabinet if the consensus among the parties is not forged within the extended deadline of the President.
The meeting of the FDRA held on Saturday at the Prime Minister’s residence Baluwatar also concluded that the opposition parties are only focused on the change of guard rather than giving the country an outlet from the current impasse. “The opposition parties are focused only on the prime minister’s chair rather than on holding election in the coming mid-May by resolving the political imbroglio and the alliance has come to the conclusion that consensus has not materialized due to this reason,” FDRA’s Spokesperson Prem Bahadur Singh said to the journalists after emerging out from the meeting.
