Cabinet decides to bring one-third budget through ordinance

KATHMANDU: The Council of Ministers has decided to recommend the President to issue ordinance in course of bringing one-third expenditure budget for the fiscal year 2069-70 BS.
The Cabinet meeting today took the decision to recommend the President to introduce one third of the budget based on the expenditure appropriated for the current fiscal year of 2068-69, informed government spokesperson and Minister for Information and Communications, Raj Kishor Yadav while speaking to media persons.
The Cabinet also decided to provide a sum of Rs. 4.32 billion for the capitalization of Rastriya Banijya Bank, he said.
Likewise, the government has also decided to purchase rightful share of Nepal Bank worth Rs. 1.37 billion, informed Minister Yadav. RSS
