CA resurrection statement manifests Maoist fear of election: Koirala

Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala has said that the revival of the dissolved Constituent Assembly (CA) was not possible.
Talking to journalists in brief at Lamahi, Dang while returning to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj, President Koirala said that the ruling UCPN (Maoist) came up with such statement being haunted by the fear that they would lose election, Koirala added.
Noting that consensus among the parties has been elusive due to UCPN (Maoist), he said the incumbent government would be brought down through struggle.
Meanwhile, Congress President Koirala has said that he never desired to become the Prime Minister just to have his photo hung inside the Singha Durbar. Speaking with journalists in Butwal today, he said that the party had unanimously proposed his name for a new prime ministerial candidate, following the request of UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Dahal.
