Bulky Far-West talks team trapped in Bahun Chettri band
KATHMANDU: The negotiation team of Far Western region that had agreed for talks in capital to negotiate their demand for undivided Far-West has been stranded in mid-way due to band called by the Brahmin Chettri Samaj on Thursday.
The five dozen members talk team has been stranded at Bansgadi of Bardiya district. The team had left for Kathmandu on Wednesday.
Meanwhile general strike continued in Farwest for the 14th consecutive day in a row. Agitators vandalized three passenger buses in Attariya square of Kailali district on Thursday for not complying with the call for band.
They have demanded for undivided Far-West while federating the nation.
