“Budget only after consensus government”
Claiming that the election of Constituent Assembly couldn’t be held if the government brought budget unilaterally, an informal meeting of the Nepali Congress Central Working Committee (CWC) held at party president Sushil Koirala’s residence Maharjgunj on Sunday morning has concluded that the budget should come only after the formation of consensus government.
Congress Vice-president Ram Chandra Poudel informed that the national consensus government should only unveil the budget. The decision of Congress has come in the wake of government’s preparation to unveil the budget on Monday.
Poudel said that the meeting dwelt upon the agitation made public and the division of responsibility for the protest to be launched from November 2. The decision will be taken on this regard after convening the formal meeting, said Poudel.
