Bring full budget only after forging consensus: Prez to Dahal
During the meeting, they discussed on latest political development and budget. The meeting was focused on budget.
Dahal told media persons that they discussed on the country’s latest political development and added that this meeting and his previous meeting with the president were focused on budget.
He further said that his attempts will be to bring the budget by forging consensus among political parties.
Dahal expressed the confidence that the budget would come on consensus whatever the size of the budget.
On the occasion, President Dr. Yadav enquired with Chairman Dahal about the latest political development of the country and the efforts being made between parties for consensus.
“There has been no consensus so far among parties, but I told him that discussions were not negative as talks were oriented towards consensus with Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and Madhesi Morcha”, said Dahal.
Opposition parties have been protesting the full budget saying the caretaker government cannot bring a full budget when the election has been already declared.
