Brad Pitt Hilariously Gets Cut Off by L.A. Official During Hearing — and Diane Keaton Was There!
Brad Pitt just had so much to say.
During a Los Angeles County hearing earlier this week, the 55-year-old actor, who was there advocating for increased funding to support improvements for the L.A. County Museum of Art, had to be cut off by Board of Supervisors Chairman Janice Hahn.
“We actors suffer from verbosity,” a smiling Pitt quipped after sharing that he knew he had exceeded his time limit.

Hahn also shared a photograph of the pair grinning together inside a courtroom. (Pitt is a longtime art and architecture aficionado who has studied with sculptor Thomas Houseago and architect Frank Gehry.)
Also present for the hearing? Actress Diane Keaton.
However, as Today host Carson Daly went on to note, Keaton, 73, managed to wrap up her speech with “time to spare.”
You may know him from the big screen, but Brad Pitt also has a passion for architecture. He testified at today’s Board meeting to show his support for Peter Zumthor’s design of the new @LACMA building.

Days after Pitt’s county hearing, a judge ruled that the actor and ex Angelina Jolie could go back to being legally single before finalizing their divorce — a legal move known as bifurcation that Jolie, 43, and Pitt requested, according to court documents filed Friday.
“Both parents are focused on what’s best for the kids,” a source told PEOPLE.
They have six children together: Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-olds Vivienne and Knox. The filing was first reported by The Blast.
Jolie and Pitt first met while making their 2005 action film Mr. & Mrs. Smith and began publicly dating a few months after the movie premiered. in January 2006, the couple told PEOPLE Jolie was pregnant.
In 2014, they married in a small ceremony at their chateau in the South of France. Just two years later, in September 2016, Jolie filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
The Maleficent actress asked for physical custody of the children.

Since filing for divorce, the two have been in ongoing negotiations over custody and dividing their finances. In November 2018, the pair reached a temporary child custody agreement, which a source told PEOPLE at the time was “to keep things moving along in the right direction.”
Since then, what previously been an acrimonious process has instead remained peaceful — and out of the public eye.
