Boy seeks funds to gain penis that was eaten by dog

KATHMANDU: A boy who lost his member due to a dog-bite is pining for the organ nearly eight years since the loss. Santosh K.C. who is now eight years old is without his private parts as it was bitten off by a dog when he was seven months old.

According to Bijuli K.C., the boy’s mother, she had left her baby sleeping at her house and gone for work in her farm when their neighbour’s dog bit off toddler Santosh’s penis and consumed it.

Santosh’s parents who are economically not well-off to afford the boy’s treatment are seeking help from the concerned government bodies and generous individuals in faint hope of restoring the boy’s organ.

The boy’s mother said that once when she took Santosh to Lucknow, India for treatment, the doctors there had said that Santosh’s treatment was possible through penis transplant and it would cost one million rupees. RSS
