Bir Hospital’s staff hit streets against drunken stupor of minister

KATHMANDU: Doctors and staffers of the Bir Hospital organized a protest program today against the unruly behavior of State Minister for Health and Population Saroj Yadav.

Nepal Health Workers’ Association, Nepal Nursing Association, Nepal Civil Servant Employees’ Organization, among others have demanded public apology from the State Minister Yadav or action against him.

Officials of the Hospital protested for an hour from 9:00 am by tying black pieces of cloths.

Director of the Hospital, Dr Buland Thapa said that the incident that terrorized public, health workers and doctors by affecting peace environment of the Hospital should be investigated.

According to central member of Nepal Health Workers’ Union, Khabraj Acharya, the government should take action against Yadav to maintain rule of law and discourage such dubious works of State Minister Yadav. RSS
