Biplav lead Maoist Group’s Solukhumbu secretary arrested
CHITWAN: The Chitwan police has arrested Shiva Khadka, the Solukhumbu district secretary of the Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ led group.
Police were searching for Khadka on a tip-off that she had been hiding in Chitwan. Khadka was arrested from Jyotinagar area of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-26 on Thursday.
She was the Biplav-led Communist Party of Nepal’s women central member and the Koshi regional bureau coordinator and the district secretary for Solukhumbu district in the last one year, police said. She was born in Khalpa, Necha Salyan rural municipality-2 in Solukhumbu.
The government has outlawed the Communist Party of Nepal led by Biplav after the party was found involving in violence and bombing incidents.
