Bijukche smells rat in Chief Justice led election government
KATHMANDU: Chairperson of Nepal Workers and Peasant Party (NWPP) Narayanman Bijukchhe has alleged that the big wigs of the major political parties UCPN-Maoist, Nepali Congress (NC), CPN-UML and United Democratic Madhesi party (UDMF) reached into consensus to sign up sitting Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi as the premier of the election government as per the design of the foreign countries.
Inaugurating the 6th district assembly of the party in the premises of the Nyatapola Temple, Bijukchhe said that the design to appoint Chief Justice as the Prime Minister of the election government was first conceived overseas.
He also claimed that NC and UML, who protested the decision earlier agreed for it following the pressure of the foreign powers.
He also opined it is unfortunate that the political parties agreed to install the CJ as the Prime Minister even before the verdict of the Supreme Court as per the recommendation of foreign powers.
He further made it clear that the UCPN-Maoist is preparing to appoint Chief Justice as the Prime Minister of the election government under the direction of foreign countries.
Bijukchhe claimed that any government formed under the leadership of Chief Justice would increase despotism in the country. He also added that the decision of forming the election government led by CJ is not acceptable to his party. He also added that there is also a need of holding the elections of the local level as the elections are not taking place since last one decade.
