Bhattarai denies to surrender
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said that he would not resign, just because somebody has asked for it. Talking to media persons emerging from a meeting of the establishment faction of the party, the Prime Minister said, “I am not going to resign just because someone is demanding for it from the streets. I will continue until a proper alternative is available.”
Resigning at a time when the peace process was at its final stage and the constitution drafting process underway will be to push the country towards further chaos, he said. “So I am not going to allow such situation to come,” Dr Bhattarai added.
