Bhandari urges private media houses to become more inclusive

KATHMANDU:  Chairman of the Rastriya Madhes Samajbadi Party Sharat Singh Bhandari has said that only ending the discriminations could not save the country from going into disintegration.

During his meeting with Madhesi journalists today, leader Bhandari said the problems of fertilizer and seeds in the Terai have not got space in the media, proving an example of discrimination.

It is a matter of concern that issues of Madhesi journalists have been ignored even though the Madhes-centric parties have got an opportunity to lead the Information and Communications Ministry for a long time, he said.

Leader Bhandari further urged nongovernmental offices and private media houses to be inclusive.

Over two dozen Madhesi journalists are on a relay strike since July 17, demanding inclusiveness in media houses.  RSS
