Bhairahawa Gladiators defeats Kathmandu Kings XI by six wickets
KATHMANDU: Bhairahawa Gladiators beat Kathmandu Kings XI by six wickets in today’s match under the ongoing Everest Premier League (EPL) at Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground. In the chase of the 101 runs target, the Bhairahawa achieved it for four wickets in 17 overs. For the Bhairahawa, Ryan ten Doeschate made highest 45 runs.
Likewise, Ravi Inder Singh contributed 31, Rohit Kumar Poudel nine and Captain Sharad Bheshwakar six not out. Kushal Malla took three wickets and Mohammad Navid two.
Invited to bat first after losing the toss, the Kathmandu made 100 runs for all wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Sandeep Rajali hit highest 27 runs, while Pradeep Sahu 25 and Amit Shrestha 13. Samsad Shekh claimed two wickets and Sahu one. The Bhairahawa is facing Lalitpur Patriots in the finals on December 22.
