Bagmati River Festival kicks off
The festival to be run for 75 days was begun by mixing clean water of various rivers into the Bagmati River at Pashupati Aryaghat at Gaushala in Kathmandu.
Bagmati, Bishnumati and other rivers will be cleaned during the festival. Panchey baja and Lama baja musical instruments were also played during the clean up.
Awareness programmes will be run during the 75-day festival, said Institution Secretary Mausam Khanal. RSS
