As TPP Eliminates Tariffs, Trump Moves to Implement New Ones
(VOA): Despite opposition from many in his own party and warnings of retaliation by US trading partners abroad, President Donald Trump on Thursday rolled out tariffs on steel and aluminum imports, crossing off a major item on his trade agenda. The move came on the same day 11 countries signed the Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade deal, without the U.S., as VOA's Bill Gallo reports.
