APAC organizes 27th annual gala in Atlanta
Tara Kunwar, Atlanta, USA: The Asian Pacific American Council (APAC) conducted its 27th annual unity gala. This not-for-profit organization, devoted to the preservation, and promotion of asian/pacific American culture, religion has been active since 1985.
Chief Justice of Georgia, Carol Hunstein was present at the event as it key not speaker and elaborated on the importance of preserving and promoting religious and cultural assimilation.
The program that featured dinner with exclusive dishes from various participating communities, folk dances, and traditional dresses.
The program was started with welcome speech from APAC President Varinee Sangmalee. The program was coordinated by Raja Ghale, Board of director and scholarships were awarded to Niki Ghimire, winner of essay competition from the Nepalese community.
