Annual convention 2015 of NASeA-ANMA was jointly completed, Bimal Nepal is newly elected Chairman
Purushottam Dhakal, Los Angeles: The Nepalese Association in Southeast America (NASeA) which has been actively involving in the socialization of the Nepalese-American since very long has elected its new Chairman Bimal Nepal for the tenure 2015-2017. As per the result Bimal Nepal has defeated another Chairman candidate Madhab Dhakal. The election was occurred in the second day of the convention which was held in Embassy Suites, Greensboro in North Carolina, in which all the member are elected from the Nepal Panel.
Likewise, Association of Nepalese in Midwest America (ANMA) has also completed its convention today. According to reports from the conference venue in North Carolina, in all the post there was a tuff competition between Dhakal and Nepal panel.
In the Joint Conventions between NASeA & ANMA that has started on Friday in North Carolina has elected Bimal Nepal as new Chairman and Shailendra Bajracharya as Executive Vice Chairman. Similarly, Tara Pun as Vice Chairman, Shiva Bista as General Secretary, Joint Secretary Krishna Shrestha and Pashupati Neupane as treasurer are elected.
Selecting the new elected bodies the joint conventions between NASeA & ANMA has successfully ended. In the convention the Nepali singer and musician including Aastha Raut, Ram Krishna Dhakal, Nyuha Bajracharya, Sambhujeet Baskota, Satya Raj Acharya, Sworup Raj Achaarya and actress Keki Adhikari has played the beautiful songs and presented the cultural program too. In the program the Journalist Shailesh Shrestha has presented the paper related to the regarding the secularism and other journalist Pradeep Bhattarai has made comment on it. The session was organized by the Nepalese Indigenous Nationalities in America as it is the current issue of the country.
